Chinese new year 2012- the year of Dragon.
Day 1: while waiting for guests to arrive
next: 4 Feb – my sis birthday BBQ @ East Coast Park
the cooked food my aunt prepared!
and we brought our own portable table & chairs! apparently it was no put to use.
the DIY BBQ pit we had. small but sufficient for 5 pax
its 2012 already
With the limited number of posts i wrote in 2011 that kinda sum up my year.
Time flies. I’m still where i am, but doing something different. The first week of work was over, nothing as drama as what i see myself in the first day of work back in 2011. Of course i learnt and still learning.
Shall not do a recollection of my 2011, since it’s already over. But sharing some of the photos taken in Dec, when we went for a family trip to Batam.
We got the deals from deals.sg for 2D1N stay in Harris Batam Hotel.@ $68/pax
Inclusive of ferry, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch buffet and 1 afternoon tea + room stay
3 December 2011
10.30am ferry to Batam Centre
we had our check-in at 12. only 1 of the 3 rooms were ready, so we left our stuff there before heading out for lunch.
Lunch + walking around Megamall.
so we went to hypermart after that.
we arranged for Isabella Massage House to pick us up from Hotel Lobby at 2pm. Alighted at the shop that is just a road from Nagoya Shopping Mall, before returning at 430pm for our massage.
They rushed to the hypermart while me and my sister went shopping around. Apparently the exchange rate is the mall was so much better than the ones we changed in Singapore. My aunt and father were constantly changing more money there. We visited the money changer 3 times in a day! and another 1 time the next day! things are relatively cheaper there, so that explains more buying and shortage of $$. With the better rates theyhad there, it just encourage more buying.
We only reached the spa house at 5pm, due to slow check-out counters. Pre-booked our spa package before we went over so it saved us some time from choosing. Paid up, deposit all the groccesies in their storeroom, proceed for our massage.
Isabella House send us for our dinner at a well-known seafood place. Food was average, with mostly locals. S$48 for 6 pax. And they pick us up at the agreed time back to harris hotel for the night.
Day 2:
started with buffet breakfast
swimming, check-out, lunch buffet followed by megamall hypermart shopping again, afternoon tea in the hotel
spot us in the pool.
庆功宴
One of the project in the bank that I was involved, that burnt away 3 of my weekends , finally came to an end last weekend. And we were invited for appreciation session yesterday. Held in 1-altitude, we oversee the whole CBD area from Level 63. The view is beyond any words.
Some of the pictures from yesterday evening to night.
my colleague cum Senior.
MBS is right behind.
and the night view. Reminds me of the SGP F1 race.
the flash is not doing any justice to the night view.
23 August 2011
RMIT -BBACC convocation 2011.
after 3.5 years in school, beside learning the what was taught in the course. Made some friends that went through thick and thin together. From the horrible school administrative matters to how difficult “consolidation” is. I believed everybody who went through this module cant agreed more with what i said. Despite all these we “MADE IT” and finally graduate from SIM_RMIT.
毕业了!
Some of the photos taken from Raffles studio.
These were the not chosen photos. And We get to keep it. In all we ordered one 14R, one 8R and two 5R photos. All will only be ready in 2-2.5mths time.
The annual GSS is back
GSS shopping makes many people happy!
Agnes b having 20% off this weekend!
And finally coffee club for dinner/ supper.
If only all sat are spent like this
Housekeeping in the morning. Despite my hate for mopping the floor, the after effect bring about great sense of satisfaction.
Last minute decision, We left for malaysia in the late afternoon for seafood feasting! Yeah! Yummy Dinner with my mum & sis.

Okay there’s also mee hoon not taken in the pics. All these photos don’t do much justice to the food, it’s really good! The best part was all these cost only RM64, equivalent to S$9.30/pax. How freaking cheap is that? Can u believed it we wipe out everything and left the place at ard 6pm.
Headed towards KSL City that is jus a walk away. Though I been there many many times despite it was only opened recently in dec, the food varieties is awesome! They have Taiwan bubble tea (RM4), swensen ( ice cream: Buy One get OnE free- RM7.30) think of sticky chewy choco, yesh I have a scoop of that with wafer cone!! Lots of good food deals can be easily found there! Of course they have pizzahut, kfc there as well! Swamped with lots of Singaporean I feel, given that its so near checkpoint as well. So no more always city square, KSL is equally good! Their tesco super mart is opening in may, so an added reason, why I foresee we will be there quite often too!
Not forgetting the buys! Together with my sis we each got a pair of shoes from Summit, as they are having 10% off. S$25 for a pair of working heels, it’s so hard to resist!
And I love my block new lift that finally stop at every floor, no more stairs walking everyday!
Enjoying every bits of my life
How I love month end to be over. No more late departure from office, no more seeing the office people leaving for home yet I can’t.
And before I know it, month end Is coming and the madness at work is repeating itself.
bunny year!
the Kushin-bo date. my sis and her oriental top bought online!
and the hourly special-baked lobster
and we left for “chun dao he pan”.
and MBS is right behind
